As dusk settles in, enjoy the flameless candles casting a warm glow across the lawn while twin violinists B2WINS take the stage. Local food trucks and beverage vendors will be on site — so bring your appetite and enjoy a night with the community.
Raised in the favelas of Niterói, Brazil, twin brothers B2WINS first captured national attention with an NPR feature in 2006 before earning full-ride music scholarships to study in the United States. Now touring nationally, their electrifying, genre-bending violin performances have made them one of the most sought-after acts on the candlelight circuit — and this will be their very first Candlelight Concert in Basehor.
Grab dinner and a treat without leaving your blanket — these local vendors will be serving starting at 6:00 PM. (Non-alcoholic beverages only; the Civic Campus is an alcohol-free venue.)
