RESCHEDULED: THIS WEEK in Parks and Recreation:

NOW scheduled for Saturday, August 16: Cinema Sundays presents another passport stamp event: Cars playing at the Basehor Civic Campus Amphitheater.  The movie will start at dusk (around 8:30-8:45pm). However, join us starting at 6:00pm for a special mini-event prior to the movie.  The "Convoy of Cars" will be on display from 6pm to 8pm.  The Convoy of Cars will be a collection of 12-15 cars from all periods of time for families to walk around and enjoy.  Car enthusiasts should not miss out on this mini-event!  Included in those scheduled to appear are a Lamborghini, a McLaren, local 1st Responder vehicles, a 1955 Ford T-Bird, a '69 Mach 1 and Ford Mustang,  a Hot-air balloon and many others! That Smoker BBQ food truck will open at 5pm, and will be joined by Dolelicious (Pineapple Whips and Cotton Candy) desserts.
